On the MRT today, I was one of several commuters to sit straight up as we passed Buona Vista station. A tremendous pop of colour had caught my eye amidst the arid greenery and concrete.
Turns out the seemingly under-utilized rail corridor was getting a fresh coat of art in time for OFF THE RAILS happening this Saturday, 18th July; and we were privileged to glimpse the artists at work.
You can, too, witness the live works of renowned graffiti artists Tuyuloveme (ID), Cath Love (HK), Factor (AU), Slac Satu (SG) and more while soaking up some psychedelic reggae as Wobology shakes up the the viaduct. On that note, fashion partners like Zentai Art will clothe (if you be willing) urban partygoers in plenty of tie-dye and pimped-up tee shirts. Now you’re digging in to heavenly authentic Carribean food and swigging rum punch, to complete that mental picture.
