Workshop Element: a brand new retail pop-up store that brings together an ensemble of Singaporean fashion designers and curators under one roof.
More commonly known as W.E the new retail concept, which launched earlier last week, houses a myriad of the best names Singapore’s fashion.Just as the name suggests, W.E is a raw industrial space with an underscored simplicity, stripped down to allow each design’s work to take the spotlight at their various spaces.
Situated at the heart of Orchard Road, W.E brings local fashion designers to the forefront featuring an all-local ensemble of 19 brands and 16 designers/curators bringing a combination of new up starters, together with young emerging designers, with veteran designers.
Showcasing for the first time at the launch was Sceneplicity by Singaporean super model and SK-II’s celebrity brand ambassador, and now fashion curator, Sheila Sim. Sceneplicity emulates Sheila’s personal style, representing simplistic yet fashion-forward designs.
Amongst the pool of talented designers are some of our favourites such as Ling Wu, Mystic Vintage, and Reckless Ericka. For the first time, shoppers will be able to conveniently pick out and match unique pieces from a wide range of local designers, all in the convenience of just one stop.
