MUSIC

Tonight would have been the night, we waited everlong for.

Today could have been THE day – when one of the world’s biggest bands would rock the socks off possibly close to fifteen thousand fans. A concert which would see friends from the region flying in to catch the Foo Fighters. But as you all know, that ain’t gonna happen and we just have to get on with our sad lives.

While we wish Dave Grohl a speedy recovery, the next best thing we can do is to well… catch another gig by another awesome band.

In case you haven’t heard, Radiohead will be playing a couple of shows in Australia come November. Probably the closest we’re going to get to the real karma police, so time to plan a holiday down under!

Closer to home, I am terribly excited to catch Death Cab for Cutie next Tuesday at Fort Canning. Think it is their third visit to our shores but it will be my first time attending. Excited! Get your tickets at www.sistic.com.sg if you haven’t already!

And my personal favorite track from each band:

Death Cab for Cutie – Movie Script Ending

Radiohead – Lucky

About

Talks in lyrics and has been tackling the guitar and ukulele since forever. Oh…semi-charmed and perpetually stuck in the 90s, she is. www.mymixtapeforyou.tumblr.com
