The Throwdown Obstacle Jam 2013 presented by Wake.SG held on 26 October brought together some of the best wakeboarders and wakeskaters in the world to the SKI360 Cableski Park to compete in Singapore’s first ever obstacle jam format tournament. With a unique format where up to 4 competitors in each heat would ride at the same time within a 7 minute time frame and execute their best tricks on a select set of obstacles, spectators were treated with an array of never-before-seen manoeuvres seen in Singapore.
The Womens and Mens Wakeboard Divisions was ultimately won by Jaimi Oxlade and Argyrios Diskalopoulos respectively, whereas current World Champion, Daniel Grant from Thailand, took the crown for both the Open Wakeboard & Wakeskate Division. However, the best trick of the day went to Guy Tanaka with a Double Back Flip off the ramp.
