It’s been a long strange trip. What started as a modest gathering of pop culture-savvy folks, has now reached Super Saiyan-proportion as the Singapore Toy, Game & Comic Convention is now in its 10th year.
Held once more at the Marina Bay Sands Convention Hall, the Singapore Toy, Game & Comic Convention will host artists, cosplayers and the likes. Expect a swell of people and activities but here are what you need to check out and what to cop:
1. ACTION CITY FOR TOKIDOKI X BE@RBRICK
Action City returns with a collaboration with BE@RBRICK and tokidoki for the 100% and 400% versions of BE@RBRICK Adios and a pre-ordered set BE@RBRICK 100%s inspired by tokidoki’s four well-known icons: Mermicorno: Sirena, Biscotti, Electric Tiger and Kaiju

2. HELL LOTUS REINCARNATED BY CLOGTWO X MIGHTYJAXX
There’s also The Art of Daruma exhibition with custom artworks on a Daruma Club blank from artists like Devilrobots, Wetworks and Mightyyellow.
It’s a sort of homecoming for Mighty Jaxx, who is celebrating its fifth anniversary with a variant of their first toy, Clogtwo’s Hell Lotus. Called Hell Lotus Reincarnated, this version sees a new robe and a staff, as well as flames burning about his lotus throne and scarred skull.
Other releases from Mighty Jaxx include Cacooca’s Huat the Fuck, a Popek variant, a Brick Baby variant and an Alex Solis’ GID Baby Puft.
3. CALAVERITA CORAZONE BY THE BEAST BROTHERS
The Beast Brothers (well, one of them anyway) will be at the STGCC to debut these side-eye cuties, the Calaverita Corazone as well as partake in a Mechatro WeGo custom show.
4. JIANGSHI ACOLYTE BY DANIEL YU
Singapore-based sculptor, Daniel Yu shares a booth with Taiwan’s own fufufanny as they present new variants of their work like Jiangshi Acolyte and Linus.
5. 1000 TENTACLES
Leong WanKok aka 1000tentacles will showcase his monster menagerie like Medusa Offspring and Deadmouse.
6. PITOHUI BY POBBER TOYS
Having skewered dictators (Kim Jong Un) and sacred cows (The Simpsons), Pobber Toys adds Scott Tolleson’s Bao Red Bean variant and JEM’s PITOHUI.
