Here in Asia, Fourth of July might have been spent double-tapping firework pics on Insta from across the world, but there was more reason to toast to than you may think.
The Design Society has launched the eighth issue of its bi-annual publication on this very special day. The Design Society Journal, which has been themed ‘ANEW’ this time round, is a slow read for today’s urban community and design enthusiasts.
What’s most incredible about TDSJ8: ANEW is that among its increased circulation of 2,000 copies, 1,000 feature 60 contributed artworks on their cover. This means that while its artsy innards uniformly span the remarkable works and lives of our local designers, TDSJ8 comes clad in various exclusive, captivating interpretations of “ANEW”.
A remaining 1,000 copies are printed in a generic cover artwork by The Design Society itself.
