Here is a list of the live acts you’ll get to see today.
1. These Brittle Bones
Having put out his first release at the age of 12, electronic singer/songwriter from the UK, Chris aka These Brittle Bones gained the attention of London-based industry professional Jonny Taylor who became his manager in the same year.
Now 18, Chris has since been signed to Kobalt Music Publishing & Believe Digital and will be releasing his latest single and music video for ‘Healing’ by mid-2017, which sees the musician taking bold steps forward with his electronic material.
2. Ffion
Known for her chill vibes & melancholic vocals, Ffion (Read Popwire’s Stocktake Of Ffion’s R&B Releases Not To Be Missed here) documents her life in forms of songs, in hopes people may find a way to relate to them. The British vocalist may be a newcomer to the scene in Singapore, but with plans to release an EP by July 2017, itʼs clear there is more to be expected from her.
3. Drem (Matteblacc)
Raised in Singapore and immersed in the San Francisco scene, Drem (read Popwire’s For The Record by Dre Reyes here) brings his style of true school hip hop, deep soul and funk straight to the platter turntablist- style.
An avid vinyl collector and digger still on the quest for that rare 45, he continues to push on the sound on the soul tip movement in which he defines himself in all one catch phrase, ” I’m anything soul.”
4. Candy Says
Candy Says is a pair of indie DJs, formerly of 4imaginaryboys. The DJ twosome have played in music festivals, clubs, and outdoor bars.
The often-dusted vinyls on Candy Says’ turntables cover alternative rock, indie electronica, shoegaze, folk, punk, post-punk, and the occasional Kanye.
