Feiyue X Andrea Crews

Feiyue, a sneaker label which originated in China circa 1920s and experienced a French resurgence in 2006 has since gained its cult following with its designs inspired by urban art, music and travel.

On 4th March 2011, a showcase of the Feiyue X Andrea Crews collaboration was unveiled at Paris Fashion Week, at Andrea Crews’ 10th collection fashion show. Dubbed the crew of living death, the appeal of the lightness of Feiyue’s canvas sneaker resulted in a partnership where free rein was given to the collective to create a pair of sneakers that was both arty and alternative. Andrea Crews is a collective led by Maroussia Rebecq who performs between art and fashion by federating stylists, illustrators, musicians, video directors and performers. Combining several aspects of contemporary creation, we present and stage our collections as performances, happenings and videos. In opposition to the dominant uniformity, Andrea Crews emphasizes personal creativity, experimentation and independence”

What both brands have in common? Their passion for contemporary art, fashion and street culture. Sounds like something right up v.a.u.l.t’s alley.
