Easy Glamour – Rachel Zoe’s Spring/Summer 2012 Collection

I have so much respect for this woman, and if there was ever a chance to work for her, I’d drop everything and just go right away. From celebrity stylist to fashion designer, Rachel Zoe is like an exquisite gem you find in a vintage store – so much charm, character and a unique style, all packaged in a tiny frame. They don’t say great things come in small packages no reason!

This year, Rachel Zoe unveils her Spring/Summer collection for 2012 to a room full of media and fans. It is by far one of my favourite collection for NSFW. Not only did she nail every trend in her looks, she added her personal spin of vintage rock-and-roll glamour to the outfits, drawing inspiration from the renowned Brigitte Bardot.

Rachel had in mind a glamourous Brigitte Bardot basking in the South of France in the late 60s and early 70s, while designing her collection, she terms as “Easy Glamour”. Without a doubt the pieces carried the extra ‘Rachel-ism’ as style.com puts it, showcasing a variety of leopard prints, tailored tux, embellished gowns, leather shorts and of course, Rachel’s signature – the high-waist palazzo pants.

Someone please bring them into our shores now please.
